Day 1: Arrival Day Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) your Tour Guide will pick you and transferred to Arusha to recover from your journey and, if you’re lucky, to catch a glimpse of the spectacular Kilimanjaro which rises from the clouds above town. When you get to your Hotel you will be briefed about your safari then the rest of your Day will be at Leisure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Earlier in the morning after breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on a safari. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Late evening after game drives you will be driven to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire Area to Serengeti National Park

Earlier in the morning after breakfast you will be picked up from the lodge and Drive to Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu then Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the endless of Serengeti National park, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Choose between a relaxed breakfast or full-day game drives from 9:00 AM with packed lunch, returning by 6:00 PM. Alternatively, depart at 6:00 AM for an early game drive, followed by breakfast and an afternoon drive with lunch. Explore the central Serengeti, renowned for its lion and leopard populations. The Seronera area, rich in wildlife, features the Seronera River, attracting diverse species. Look out for lion prides thriving in this region year-round. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the full-day drive, ending around 5 PM. Conclude with a hearty dinner and restful night at your accommodation.

Day 5: Game Drives in Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast you will go for a half day game drives in Serengeti National Park then after Lunch you departs to Ngorongoro Conservation area for dinner and overnight. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.

Day 6: Safari in Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Get up Earlier in the morning around 6:00am for Breakfast then descend to the crater floor for game drive. You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With a 2hr drive left to Karatu the day will come to a close, late afternoon you will be driven to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park and Drive to Arusha/Airport

Your last safari day begins at 7:30 AM after breakfast. Depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive amidst lush Acacia and Mahogany forests. Spot buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys until mid-afternoon, pausing for a picnic lunch. Tree-climbing lions are a rare sight, but keep watch. In the right season, witness pink flamingos lining the shoreline. After lunch, return to Arusha, where you'll be dropped at Arusha Airport or your accommodation, bidding farewell to your team with cherished memories.
