Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National park
Your safari begins early after breakfast with a pick-up from your Arusha hotel. Setting off for Serengeti National Park, the 240 km journey takes about 6 hours. Serengeti translates to "endless plains," covering 14,763 sq km and hosting the renowned "Big 5" – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. The Serengeti ecosystem supports a high concentration of plains game. The central Serengeti, particularly Seronera area, is rich in wildlife, with the Seronera River attracting diverse species. Keep an eye out for lion prides and granite "Kopjes," providing shelter for flora and fauna. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day-long game drive. The day concludes with a hearty dinner and a restful night in your accommodation.
Day 2: Game Drive in Central Serengeti and Drive to Ngorongoro
We can wake early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti at Dawn if you wish. This should be discussed with your safari guide the previous night. After the early morning game drive you will take breakfast at the lodge/camp then leave with a packed lunch and spend the half day in the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is the largest part of the Serengeti – Masai Mara Ecosystem that stretches into Kenya and is the stage for the Annual Wildebeests Migration that sees Millions of Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles trek thousands of Kilometers in search of pasture and Water. Late on you will be driven to the crater Rim for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour Transfer to Arusha
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 square km with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. Depends on your flight Schedule you will be dropped off at Arusha airport or to your preferred location in Arusha in the evening. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.
