Regardless of being among the parks admired for abundance of wildlife, fauna and flora there have three spectacular features; Shira plateau, Kibo and Mawenzi which complements to the beauty of this park.
Viewing the Mount Meru from a close look and very fine weather has also attracted many visitors to this park. Its sounds unbelievable that all these and many more can explored in one-day excursion.

Day 1: Arusha to Arusha National Park
After Breakfast at your Accommodation in Arusha, Your Professional Safari Guide will come and Pick you then drive to Arusha National park for Game Drives and Walking Safari, Take a picnic lunch and drive to our nearest National Park. See the Ngurdoto crater and Momella lakes. In deed the park has a wealth of wildlife including Colobus Monkeys, velvet monkeys, bushbucks, buffalos, red forest duikers, hippos, elephants, warthog, olives, baboons, colobus monkey, dik dik and giraffes. Birdlife, especially waterfowl, is abundant and interesting.
You may be lucky enough to see thousands of flamingos on the big lake.

What to expect: Walking safari in Arusha National Park
You’ll start the Day with a short drive to Arusha National Park, this will take about 30 minutes (from Arusha). From here we’ll start driving through the beautiful green surroundings of Arusha National Park to spot some local wildlife. All this with a stunning view of Mt. Meru on the background.
After, your local safari ranger will take you on a walking safari. The walking safari gives you a whole new and unique perspective of the national park and its super exciting! The scents and sounds of the African bush are best experience by foot. Here you’ll be walking alongside wild, freely roaming animals in their natural habitat. Your ranger is experienced and knows what you can or can’t to near wild animals. Listen to him, and you will have the best possible experience. Apart from sharing loads of knowledge about the animals you might encounter, your guide will also tell you all about the unique flora & fauna of Arusha National Park.
During the walking safari some unique sights will be visited, like the impressive waterfall that hides in the heart of the park, the Ngurdoto Crater and Lake Momella, where thousands of pink flamingos can be often be spotted.
Late on you will be Driven Back to Arusha for Dinner and Ovenight
